Margo Selby Logan Rug

A subtle symphony in blue; the Logan rug designed by Margo Selby features ink, petrol, blue-black and cobalt, with shades of ecru. The linearity of the design, and the limited palette, reference Japanese indigo textiles, and also global traditions of optical constructive art. The circular motif and varying stripe explore rhythm and echo – pattern within pattern – layered and off-set.

Hand Tufted – Luxurious pile, tightly packed yarn – these rugs are handmade on upright frames using a very precise technique of inserting and looping yarn tufts through a canvas backing, with handheld tools. Features of this method are the density of pile and crispness of line, with optional varied pile heights hand-carved to create a 3-dimensional effect
