Whilton Locks Carpets are an independent family run business that have been in the local area for over 30 years. Showcasing ALL our wonderful products in our latest display format, our eye-catching and easy to use Play Studio. Bring along your paint charts and fabric samples and choose at your leisure.

Customers can be assured of a warm welcome in store not just from husband-and-wife Owners, Haydon and Dorothy Wills, but from Candice will be on hand at the front of house to help expertly advise on your new flooring design. Along with Andy and Neil, the teams’ on site surveyors, and Geof who looks after the warehouse, the team at Whilton Locks Carpets have been with the company for a combined 50 years (wow!) and will each support you through your buying journey.

We think you're great, but why should local people visit your store?

“We have a big store, 2 floors with just flooring. You will struggle to find a store with a larger variety. We are fanatical about flooring, no blinds, no beds, only flooring.”

What do you love about your local area? Any Quirky Facts?

“We are really nestled in the heart of the lovely Northamptonshire countryside, surrounded by beautiful rolling hills. There are so many lovely villages surrounding us. Our neighbors are the Whilton Marina and the Whilton Locks Garden Village, which has recently been voted the best Garden Village in Northamptonshire.”

What's the best thing about Alternative Flooring? What's your favourite Alternative product?

“Alternative is a great company and we love the way they have taken on their environmental responsibility. They really have some unique and wonderful initiatives running, supporting various rainforest initiatives. Choosing a favorite product is hard, because we like ALL of the products. However, we really love the Quirky patterned carpets and the Make Me A Rug creator is one of a kind!”
