SJH Carpets are an independently run business who have been in the South West for over 20 years. Their first showroom was based in Wincanton but they now have additional showrooms in Tisbury and Langport meaning that they can cover the whole of Wiltshire, Dorset and Somerset. Showcasing ALL our wonderful products in our latest display format, our eye-catching and easy to use Play Studio. Bring along your paint charts and fabric samples and choose at your leisure.

Plus, all our fitters attend specialized training courses keeping them up to date with all the new techniques.”

What do you love about your local area? Any Quirky Facts?

“We have a very diverse population in the Southwest which means every job we do is different, from manor houses to cottages, old and new builds to cafes and shops.

The local area has an abounding number of natural beauty spots, including Stourhead Gardens, Wardour Castle, Fonthill Lake and Longleat plus many more. Fun fact, Johnny Depp filmed a boat scene at Fonthill Lake in Chocolat and Kevin Costner filmed a scene for Robin Hood Prince of Thieves at Wardour Castle!”

What's the best thing about Alternative Flooring? What's your favourite Alternative product?

“We love Alternative Floorings Make Me A Rug service. It is so easy to use and the customers can go online themselves and play on the website! Plus a Play Studio Partner we get exclusive products and a wonderful stand with a table to work with.”

“SJH Fabrics at our Wincanton Store offer a very personal, bespoke window dressing service which means you can match the colours in your carpets or rug bindings to your other home décor!”
